Paolo Nesi is at present Full Professor of Distributed Systems at the University of Florence, Faculty of Engineering. He is also vice-director for the Dept of Systems and Informatics of the same university. He is the scientific team leader for the Distributed Systems and Internet Technology research group. Paolo Nesi got a PhD in electronic and informatics engineering at the University of Padua. His research interests include object-oriented technology, real-time systems, formal languages, computer music, distributed systems, protection models and technology, distribution of digital contents, intelligent contents.
Jaime Delgado Ph. D. in Telecommunication Engineering since 1987. Telecommunication Engineer since 1983. Since September 2006, Professor at the Computer Architecture Department of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) in Barcelona (Spain). Previously, Professor of Computer Networks and Computer Architecture at the Technology Department, Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF), also in Barcelona, since 1999.
Kia Ng obtained his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Leeds where he is director and co-founder of the Interdisciplinary Centre for Scientific Research in Music (ICSRiM), and senior lecturer in Computing and Music. Kia's research links together work in the School of Computing and the School of Music on computer vision, computer music, and AI. Currently, he is the President of the International Association of Interactive Multimedia MUSICNETWORK.
